Orbital ATK to add 500 jobs at their Chandler AZ Manufacturing Center
The United States ranks very high in aerospace opportunities and Arizona has just been ranked highest in the nation for aerospace manufacturing friendliness according to PWC.
Arizona has worked diligently to convince Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) high tech companies to relocate here or expand existing Arizona operations and those efforts are paying off.
One success story is Orbital ATK in Chandler AZ that plans to add 500 jobs over the next five (5) years. This expansion is the second this year and there remains 24 unfilled, open requisitions for engineers at their Chandler rocket launch division facility. Qualified engineers should have a 3.0 or higher GPA and 3 or more years of related work experience! All qualified engineers should check out these opportunities today!
Chandler City Council must approve a 46,000 square-foot expansion into the Allred Park Place in the city's Price Corridor high-tech and manufacturing hub, as part of the terms agreed to between Chandler, State of Arizona and Orbital.
Arizona Commerce Authority is offering assistance to the aerospace and defense company with $2.5 million from the state's Arizona Competes Fund if Orbital meets certain performance goals.
The new Orbital jobs will be full-time, high-wage work similar to the 2,000 jobs the Virginia-based company already has in its four Valley-based locations in Chandler, Gilbert and Mesa Arizona.
